Mission Statement

Champions Run Junior Links Program is dedicated to helping Juniors develop a lifelong enthusiasm, respect and love for the game of golf. The program is committed to providing expert instruction, a safe environment and supervised use of the golf course and clubhouse. Our goal is to provide an arena where sportsmanship, fun and education allow a junior’s skills and understanding of the game to grow.

Eligibility

Champions Run Junior Links Program is for all children and grandchildren of Golf and Social Members who are between the ages of 5-17. The staff recommends  you sign up your child only if you feel he/she is ready for this program, and can go out on the golf course without your supervision.

Programs Offered - Recommended Ages

The Junior Links Program will be broken down into 3 Divisions:

Eagles (formerly Advanced)                           Boys and Girls ages 14-17

Birdies (formerly Beginner/ Intermediate)     Boys and Girls ages 8-13

Pars (formerly Pee Wee)                                 Boys and Girls ages 5-7

Parent Help and Support

The backbone of the Junior Links Program are the Volunteers. To make the program work we require that an  adult volunteer 2 days for each child in the programVolunteers will be used for the Play Days. We ask that the Volunteer be a parent or someone designated by the parents. Designated Volunteers  must be at least 16 years of age with a Driver’s License, golf experience is desired but not necessary. The enclosed sign-up sheet lists the dates we will be needing volunteers, make sure you have the dates you will volunteer circled  when you turn in the form.  Junior Links Sign-Up sheets that are turned in with the Volunteer Information left blank will be returned to you. Kris Gudenrath is the Junior Links Chairman this year and she will be helping the Golf Shop coordinate the sign-up and delegation of Volunteers. If you have any questions regarding your role as a Volunteer you can call Kris at 445-8104.

*** If parents do not meet their volunteer requirements a
$100 fee will be charged to their account.
